The International Telecommunication Union or the ITU revealed the 3G application with its usual telephone services. This was the growing standard of IMT-2000. This brought forth several diverse applications and created a wonderful facility for growth, support and differing functions to take place. The GSM also brought forth the circuit switch data that could just bring on the 14.4 kbps. This supported the essential mobile multimedia support and its possible expansion. They had a 3G deliver packet-switched data with great spectral efficacy and wonderful bandwidth managements coming along with it.
In 1999 the ITU approved about 5 radio interfaces for IMT-2000. This recommendation came to ITU-R M.1457 turn with the WiMAX added to it in 2007. There are different evolutionary standards followed by the compatible extensions of these associations. The network came to pre-exist on compatible extensions of 2G connectivity mode. These came to bring different revolutionary standards with frequent reallocations as well as later joining of the UMTS group.
As the set points developed they got independently formed as a standard DECT and WiMAX that came to have IMT-2000 fitted to its right definition. The EDGE facility of 3G standard came to work with the GSM/UMTS as with the phone report of EDGE or the 2.75G as well as UMTS or 3G networks. These separate functions came to be of utmost importance for the overall networking facility.
One of the very 1st 3G network facilities that came to be launched by NTT DoCoMo in Japan got branded by FOMA. This was in May 2010 with the pre-release of W-CDMA coming along with it. One of the very 1st launches of 3G was also made through NTT DoCoMo in Japan. This was done in October 2001 with some of the initial scopes to be limited in respect to broader perspectives. The broader availability soon became a concern over reliability of the networking system. The commercial viability of the network came to be superseded by SK Telecom in South Korea. This new release was based on 1 x EV-DO technology. This happened in January 2002 and by May that year, the network evolved greatly. So much so, that the EV-DO soon got developed via KTF. The Koreans were thus some of the very 1st operators to come through as the top networking companies.
One of the initial telecom networks from Europe was Isle of Man by Manx Telecom. Their Telecom operation got owned by the British Telecom and become one of the fastest British Telecom companies to be growing well. This was developed by Telenor in December 2001. There were no commercial handsets without any paying customers what so ever. There have been several W-CDMA technological advancements going on with some United States 3G network operating through the Monet Mobile Networks working on CDMA2000 1 x EV-DO technology.
The very initial commercial success of US was however shut down pretty fast. The 2nd 3G operation soon got working with Verizon Wireless in US only. This happened in October 2001.
